Mental Health First Aid training is offered on 3 levels from a half day to a full 2 days training.  Courses can be in person or using online platforms.

COURSE

This course is designed to give a deeper understanding of mental health, practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues, confidence to step in, reassure and support a person in distress, enhanced interpersonal skills such as non-judgemental listening and the knowledge to help someone recover by guiding them to appropriate support.

 

Attendees receive access to MHFA England's online learning hub and MHFAider support app along with membership to the Association of Mental Health First Aiders for 3 years.

 

Refresher training is required every 3 years.

MHFA One Day

Ideal for all employees especially line managers

 

AVAILABLE AS AN ONLINE COURSE

Equip all line managers with the skills and confidence to spot when someone on their team is struggling and to know how and when to offer support.

An awareness and skills course which will teach you to: recognise the main signs and symptoms of common mental health issues, provide initial support, guide a person towards appropriate professional help, be mindful of your own wellbeing and develop an understanding of how you can create and maintain a healthier workforce or community.

Mental Health Aware

Ideal for whole organisation

 

AVAILABLE AS AN ONLINE COURSE

 

A 4 hour introductory course designed to increase mental health awareness, challenge stigma and give an understanding of how to look after your own wellbeing as well as those around you.

Lay the groundwork by introducing the idea of talking openly about mental health and empower people to utilise other initiatives your organisation is putting in place. 

Suicide Prevention Training for Organisations by Junah

Ideal for people managers, HR, whole organisation

 

AVAILABLE AS AN ONLINE COURSE

 

Co-created with the incredible trainer Julie Castleman, our training supports workplaces & organsiations to create mentally healthy environments that are safer from suicide. We look at what suicide prevention is and what difference we can all make, particularly people managers. We equip people with the skills to support a person having thoughts of suicide and develop understanding of the fundamental need for support after suicide within our communities.
