Mental Health First Aid training is offered on 3 levels from a half day to a full 2 days training. Suicide First Aid training is also offered via either a 'Lite' half day course or a one day course. Courses can be in person or using online platforms.

A practical skills and awareness course designed to give a deeper understanding of mental health, practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues, confidence to step in, reassure and support a person in distress, enhanced interpersonal skills such as non-judgemental listening and the knowledge to help someone recover by guiding them to appropriate support.
Attendees receive a comprehensive manual with further reading to enhance their training. Guidance is available for how to recruit appropriate employees to be MHFAiders; I am happy to talk through this with you.

Ideal for all employees especially line managers

Equip all line managers with the skills and confidence to spot when someone on their team is struggling and to know how and when to offer support.
An awareness and skills course which will teach you to: recognise the main signs and symptoms of common mental health issues, provide initial support, guide a person towards appropriate professional help, be mindful of your own wellbeing and develop an understanding of how you can create and maintain a healthier workforce or community.
